Sometimes bringing your pet into the hospital isn’t easy. Whether your schedule is full, your pet becomes stressed during travel, or you simply want guidance before deciding on an in-person visit, Meadowmont Animal Hospital offers telemedicine appointments to help support you and your pet from home.

During a telemedicine appointment, our team can review photographs, videos, and discuss your pet’s symptoms with you virtually. This can be especially helpful for follow-up discussions, behavioral concerns, minor questions, or helping determine the next best step for your pet’s care.

Because pets cannot verbally communicate how they feel, there are situations where hands-on care, diagnostics, or testing may still be necessary. While telemedicine can be incredibly helpful, it may not be appropriate for every medical concern. If additional care is needed, our team will guide you through the next steps and help coordinate an in-person visit when appropriate.

To be eligible for telemedicine services, pets must have had a full physical exam with our team within the past 12 months.
