Drop-Off Appointments

For clients who may not be able to stay for a traditional appointment, Meadowmont Animal Hospital offers convenient drop-off appointments designed to provide flexibility while still ensuring your pet receives attentive, personalized care throughout the day.

With a drop-off appointment, your pet is admitted to the hospital in the morning and cared for by our veterinary team while you continue with your workday or other responsibilities. This option is especially helpful for busy schedules, pets requiring more in-depth diagnostics or monitoring, or situations where additional time may be needed to fully evaluate your pet’s condition.

Throughout the day, our team will remain in communication with you by phone to discuss findings, answer questions, review recommendations, and obtain approval for any diagnostics or treatments that may be needed. This allows our veterinarians to carefully assess your pet without the time limitations of a traditional scheduled appointment while still keeping you actively involved in their care.

Drop-off appointments can also help reduce stress for some pets by allowing our team additional time to help them settle into the environment at their own pace. In many cases, this approach allows us to provide a more thorough evaluation and coordinate testing or treatments more efficiently.

Our team will guide you through the drop-off process and provide instructions prior to your visit. We generally recommend pets be dropped off early in the morning so we have the best opportunity to evaluate and care for them throughout the day. We offer this appointment type Monday through Friday from 8 am to 11 am. Scheduling is required.
